Most projects take 5–8 weeks from kickoff to delivery. Manufacturing video timelines are not dissimilar to corporate video production timelines.

Pre-production (planning, scripting, safety clearances) usually takes two weeks, but some organizations require more lead time to work with facilities management and EHS staff to ensure a smooth production. Filming is usually one to three days, depending on the scope and size of the facility. Post-production typically takes another few weeks, depending on the number of manufacturing videos being produced and review cycles.

In most cases, there is no need to pause production. In fact, films made at a live operation can yeild the most compelling stories. There are times when a lock-out tag-out needs to happen (ie; we need to film inside of a machine), but this is very rare. We assess lighting, sound, and safety conditions in advance and occasionally schedule certain shots during breaks or off-hours for the cleanest visuals and audio. 

Our team will never impede production. We are right at home in a running factory and can capture incredible content safely and affordably.

We use cinema-grade cameras with high dynamic range and slow motion to capture incredible visuals at your factory. Our lenses range from 8mm fisheye to 650mm telephoto, and include specialty lenses such as the waterproof wide-angle macro probe lens. 

We also employ cinematic grip equipment such as Sachtler tripods, DJI gimbals & Matthews dollies to be able to capture visuals with compelling dynamism.

Our audio packages include hyper-directional shotgun mics and high-quality wireless lavalier mics. 

For cleanrooms or labs, we use sealed, sterilized gear and adhere to your facility’s gowning / air filtration standards.

And we have ultra-high definition drone options for aerial capture outside (and inside) your factory. Our pilots are licensed by the FAA and our team is fully insured.

Our manufacturing video production team follows strict safety protocols (such as those outlined by NEHA & IHMM) and coordinates closely with your EHS managers to plan every shot around active zones. We participate in pre-filming safety meetings and use minimal-footprint lighting, compact rigs, and PPE such as steel-toed & anti-slip soled shoes, ear protection, gloves, hard hats, and even respirators when needed.
