Commercial Video Project with Angel Bakeries
Angel Bakeries is one of the most established manufacturers of pita bread that you've never heard of. Awakened Films was hired to remind consumers of how delicious and practical their artisan pitas really are.
Angel Bakeries—a 30 year old company with roots in Israel—was desperate to stand out in an already saturated US market. With a major marketing task at hand, there was no time to loaf around. Awakened Films got right to work chewing on the product, target audience and storytelling opportunities this collaboration presented.
Working hand in hand with Joe Angel, the owner of Angel Bakeries, Awakened Films became an extension of his marketing team. The bread was in the oven, the table was set, and now, all that was left was to translate a brand guide full of marketing-speak into bite-size visual nuggets ready for consumption by hungry consumers.
After many hours of ideation and collaboration, the two teams settled on product-centric approach to the commercials. Focusing the viewers attention on the quality and texture of the pita bread through a series of beautiful table top visuals.
Awakened Films was not only tasked with concept ideation, but also with design, layout, props, food styling, casting and directing…everything was built and filmed right here in our New Jersey Production Studio.
Every shot was carefully orchestrated. From food prep, & set design to lighting & camera movement. Each decision intentional. All with the goal of leading the viewer on an aesthetic journey to crave the heavenly taste of Angel Bakeries Pita.
The Angel Bakeries commercials were a masterclass in storytelling, where every frame was infused with the essence of their brand: warmth, tradition, and innovation. From the golden crusts to the heartfelt smiles, we kneaded together the perfect blend of artistry and vision. And that’s a slice of success we’re proud to share.
